Thanks everybody—I see that there are a bunch of new followers. At this point, I am not sure where I can take the story, with Martha being in the picture and all. So while I was in a middle of a chapter when they started dating, I had to stop since it didn’t fit the timeline. I’ll try to figure something out going forward. :)
So I had some long flights and some time on my hands. So I wrote a new chapter, just for fun. It’s all very Jared-y.

Those who stuck with me all through the years—thank you. It’s been a long journey. Newer readers—thank you as well, for giving this a try and liking it.
I know that a lot of you disagreed with me at times—the story’s point of view, the actions of the characters, the writing itself. I appreciate it all, actually. The insults and the compliments. Means that people actually cared.
Hope that at the end, I was able to drive the point across.
It’s a story of Family. The one thing that makes the Followills them, even more so than the music. And families are rarely “perfect”, “ideal” and pretty. Families are complicated, chaotic, tricky, and perfectly imperfect. And so are the people who make up families. And that is why my characters fight and make up, and cheat and lie and hurt each other. Because we all do that to each other. And I think that that’s okay. Just don’t forget to love too.
